Manchester City’s right-back and English international star, Kyle Walker, the Premier League titleholder, revealed his opinion on potentially moving to the Saudi Professional League (SPL) in the near future.
The Saudi Professional League has become a destination for the world’s top stars, especially after the legendary Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo joined the first football team of Al Nassr Club in January 2023.
Walker said in statements to the “FIVE” program: “I will never say no to the Saudi league… Obviously, the huge amounts of money they pay there are a big attraction for world stars.”
The 33-year-old English international full-back emphasized that Ronaldo’s “move” to Al Nassr Club has paved the way for everyone to consider a move to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Kyle Walker affirmed that the continued transfer of world-class stars to the Saudi Professional League will contribute to “improving” the level of competition there.
It’s worth mentioning that Walker is under contract with the first football team of Manchester City FC until June 30, 2026, having joined them in the summer of 2017, participating in 291 official matches since then.
